What to expect at Camp Kid Jam: Jam Sessions, Small Groups, and Tracks!
What is Camp Kid Jam?
Camp KidJam is an overnight children’s camp not only for kids currently in 3rd - 5th grades but for their leaders as well. Camp KidJam is designed to teach kids to grow in wisdom, faith, and friendship. CKJ is designed to provide a fun experience for kids, unique leader training to develop adult leaders, and to elevate the significance of Small Groups for kids.
What are Jam Sessions?
Jam Sessions are camp-wide interactive large group experiences that feature enthusiastic hosts, high-energy worship, compelling storytelling, and incredible skits. You’ll get to participate in crazy team cheers, outrageous games, and enjoy our cliff-hanging dramas that reinforce the camp theme and Bible stories. Everything in Jam Sessions is designed to set the stage for engaging Small Group conversations.
What are Small Groups?
After each Jam Session, Small Groups create space for kids and leaders to grow in relationships and dive deeper into the Bible stories. Leaders are provided with fun, engaging activities and discussion questions that help their group conceptualize the message and apply the bottom line to their lives. This impactful time is the heart of CKJ and is a springboard for everyone to create bonds that last long after camp.
What are Tracks?
Tracks are fun-filled activities that kids sign up for at Camp KidJam. Some of the amazing activities they can participate in are dance, drama, sports, and arts-n-crafts.
